The Bahamas National Youth Choir will deliver a special performance for the parents of new TSU students who have assembled at the University for summer orientation. The Choir will serenade parents as they have lunch after their morning informational session. The Choir has already made several stops in Houston, including a performance at the Galleria.
The award-winning Choir was founded in 1983 as part of the celebration commemorating the 10th anniversary of Bahamian independence. The group has sung in 24 languages and traveled to 22 countries on four continents. Hundreds of young people have participated in the choir and have entered into careers as doctors, bankers, engineers, pharmacists, journalists and lawyers
