Brightwood College campuses in Houston and Friendswood will each host a Community Health Fair at its campus on Wednesday, June 20 and Thursday, June 21 respectively. The events will each be free and open to the public and will feature refreshments, a variety of health-related checks and activities for all ages. Additionally, attendees 18 and older can enter to win a pair of Jabra Elite 65t True Wireless Earbuds headphones in addition to other prizes.

WHEN: Thursday, June 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Additionally, the Harris County Health Department will also participate in the Houston campus event, offering blood pressure checks, glucose checks, HIV screenings and information about mosquito vector control. The Friendswood event will offer free body mass index checks, blood pressure checks, a one-mile campus Fun Walk and a blood drive on site for those interested in and able to give blood.

These events are part of Brightwood College parent company Education Corporation of America’s national Community Health Fair events being held at 59 other Brightwood College, Brightwood Career Institute and Virginia College locations throughout 17 states.
