HOUSTON, TX— Market Square Park in Downtown Houston hosts its annual Bayou Jamboree and Crawfish Boil on Saturday, May 19, from 3 to 7 p.m. The New Orleans style band Bayou Roux will headline an afternoon of live music, with an opening set by the high energy NOLA Hustlers Brass Band.

Family-friendly fun includes crawfish feasting, Cajun dancing, classic lawn games and a kids zone hosted by Code Park Houston where curious young minds will build a circuit to create their very own light up card. Niko Niko’s Market Square will have beer and wine for sale and Treebeards Restaurant will be on-site selling their famous Cajun eats including sausage with red beans and rice, gumbo, crawfish étouffée, jalapeño cornbread and buttercake.
