The Cynthia A. Guillory Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others through charitable giving and raising ALS awareness in Houston and surrounding communities; in affiliation with KOG & Company presents World Day Experience on National World Day Monday, May 21, 2018 at 6:30 pm.

The “World Day Experience” (WDE) is a free public event that will be an innovative showcase to embrace the uniqueness of individuals as a community and provide corporate employee resource/affinity groups, organizations, entrepreneurs, community leaders and influencers a space to come together for an evening of diverse dialogue, entertainment and courageous conversations.

“The ideology behind this event is to inspire us to have a human to human connection and identify where we might have some unconscious biases or some misconceptions of other people because society has taught us to only look through a particular lens” said Khaliah Guillory-Founder Cynthia A. Guillory Foundation. “We live in the most diverse city in the country, making Houston the perfect place to have an event of this magnitude!”

Recently named one of Houston Business Journals 40 Under 40, Guillory has worked endlessly on partnering and sponsorships with various groups and organizations to bring this event into fruition. Securing her biggest sponsorship with Le Meridien Downtown, they were a key factor in making the World Day Experience possible!

“We are thankful to have the Le Meridien Downtown on board,” said Guillory. “They are taking a chance on me as an unknown in this space by underwriting this entire event making it complimentary to the public and we are curating something great!”
