HOUSTON - The Houston Public Library (HPL) is opening the doors of its latest innovative library to date - TECHLink! The grand opening is Saturday, May 19 starting at 11AM.

TECHLink is a digital creative space that will allow for a person's imagination and creativity to be limitless. This digital creative space provides free access to state-of-the-art technology for music, video, and print production, coding and gaming development, graphic design and digital animation creation and interactive learning for kids.

Everyone is invited to experience technology like they haven’t done before!

The opening will also celebrate the re-opening of Scenic Woods Regional Library which has been closed for renovations. The celebration will feature HPL's popular Living Room series focusing on summer reading, nutrition and safety with speakers from Fonwood Early Childhood Center and Mi Tienda. CodePark Houston will host workshops introducing the in's and out's of coding. Kids and teens will also enjoy crafts, storytime, face painting and robotics hosted.
