October 25, 2018- Atlanta, GA - On Saturday, November 17th, 2018 Restoration Community Outreach (RCO) in collaboration with Reginald Greene, ESQ (The Super Lawyer), Radio One, and D & K Suit City, will host the 2nd Annual Turkey Swap. Officially sponsored by Walmart and Decatur Atlanta Printing, the event will take place at two separate locations with the first being D & K Mount Zion ( 1360 Mount Zion Road, Morrow, GA 30260) which will be held from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. It will then move to D & K Memorial Drive and l-285 (4570 Memorial Dr, Decatur, GA 30032) which will be held from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm. The aim of The Turkey Swap is to help Atlanta's homeless and underserved by giving away Turkeys to those in need this holiday season. Last year the partnering organizations were able to provide turkeys to over 1000 attendees. This year, with the help of the entire Atlanta community and news media outlets, The Second Annual Turkey Swap will assist all in need.

The host organization for the second annual Turkey Swap, RCO, is a 501c3 nonprofit organization with a mission to help raise funds and products to offset costs to the community. They strive to help individuals so that they will only pay partial or no cost for programs and services. “It is important that we, as a community, spread the word about this event this holiday season in order to reach Atlanta’s underserved in multitude, rather than in just one area,” explained Angela C. Dorsey, CEO and Founder of Restoration Community Outreach. In exchange for a Turkey, individuals are asked to donate a gently used clothing item or unopened toys.
