Harley-Davidson has partnered with MDA families for over 38 years. The Harley-Davidson family of dealers, customers, employees, suppliers and H.O.G. chapters have raised more than $100 million for MDA. Each year, riders visit 80 MDA summer camps to host barbeques and give side-car races and temporary tattoos to admiring youngsters. Today, what began as a charitable idea has become something more personal — a matter of the heart.

The Muscular Dystrophy Association holds a Monday care clinic within Texas Children’s Hospital. This clinic allows children to be seen by a variety of specialists for neuromuscular disease. HOG Chapter members will ride in from Beaumont, TX to deliver over 300 bears to MDA children receiving treatment and to all children at the hospital.

Cowboy-Harley of Beaumont has been a large partner with MDA Southeast Texas this year. During their September Sell-A-Thon they donated $100 for every bike sold in store and raised over $6,100! Earlier this year, they also raised over $2,000 in a crawfish boil for MDA.

We will hold a check presentation during the event and photos of patients will be allowed within the MDA Care Center.
