Sixty-four-year-old Freeina Gaines was just out walking her dog, Henry, as she often does on Scott and OST when she was struck by a vehicle. She claims a white PT Cruiser bearing the company logo of Diallo’s nightclub hit her on the left side of her body knocking her to ground. Next, Gaines said the driver got out of his vehicle, checked her pulse, and left the scene. She spent the next several days in the hospital healing from her injuries and now has to wear a brace. Unfortunately, her beloved Henry died from his injuries. Henry was more than an average pet. He was her service dog. Gaines received the dog after being hurt in active duty as a member of the U.S. Air Force. The veteran, who has served over 35 years, said Henry helped her walk and protected her. Following her accident, she contacted the company to seek aid for pain and suffering but the company has since closed. She is seeking public help to be able to contact the owners of Diallo’s.
