Back to School & Fall Festival
We had our seventh annual Back to School Block Party on August 18th! Supplies, clothes, and backpacks to more than 4,000 students in District B.
As our students kick-off their school year this September, we want to make sure they're excited to get back to learning. Join us at Tidwell Park on Sept. 29 for some free family fun at our annual Fall Festival! We'll have food, music, and more than a dozen bounce attractions as we celebrate literacy and burst through that summer slump. If you're interested in volunteering please contact our office at (832) 393-3009.

Buffalo Bayou East Sector Community Meetings
Building upon recent Buffalo Bayou East Sector community engagement events held in the Fifth Ward and East End, the Buffalo Bayou Partnership (BBP) invites you to attend a final meeting.
How do you want BBP and its partners to develop the five-mile stretch of the bayou from US 59 to the Port of Houston Turning Basin - on parks, on trails, on housing? How important are sites for recreation, festivals, community gardens? This is your opportunity to let the BBP know which features and activities you value the most.
Light bites will be provided.
