With County Judge KP George’s vision to expand communications to the public through every medium, The Fort Bend County Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management in partnership with Clear Channel Outdoor will launch its campaign to remind Fort Bend residents of the 2019 hurricane season as we move into the peak season with messages on digital billboards throughout Fort Bend County. These public service announcements are part of Fort Bend County’s annual preparedness campaign urging residents to get ready for the upcoming hurricane season. Throughout the rest of the season digital messages will be displayed on up to 12 digital billboards. Clear Channel Outdoor is providing the billboards at no charge to the county. Hurricane/storm activity has already been high and predictions are calling for an above average 2019 hurricane season. Planning ahead can help you protect yourself, your family, and your property before disaster strikes.
