The Health Museum and The Women’s Fund to Host “Doc Talk” on Immunizations During National Immunization Awareness Month

August 19, 2019 (Houston, Texas) – On Wednesday, August 21, 2019, members of the media are invited to join The Health Museum for a lunch and learn Doc Talk presentation by The Women’s Fund. The event will feature an open discussion with speakers from Baylor College of Medicine, Community Health Choice, and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic about the role of vaccines in society today. Experts will share their research and knowledge to help Houstonians make an informed decision about vaccines. Guests will have the opportunity to address issues of concern while also gaining a better understanding of viruses, epidemics, and pandemics. August is National Immunization Awareness Month.

Guests will have the option to pay $20 and receive a lunch provided by The Women’s Fund, or they will be able to bring their own lunch and pay general admission to The Health Museum to take part in this event.
