Not only is Main Event America’s go-to destination for fun; it’s also helping Houstonians win a chance to become the next American Idol!

On Wednesday, Aug. 28, Main Event is hosting “Houston Idol” at its Humble center located at 20945 Spring Creek Crossing. The first 500 people in line are guaranteed a wristband,* giving them access to the first round of the singing competition. There will be three rounds, with the first starting at 9 a.m.

After the second round, the Top 15 contestants will be invited back to Main Event to perform in the Houston Idol Showcase starting at 7 p.m. for their chance to win one of five Silver Tickets – entitling contestants to a one-on-one audition with American Idol executive producers, along with airfare and accommodations for themselves and a guest at a to-be-determined Judge City location. The five Silver Ticket winners will also receive a Golden Pass for FREE game play for a year at Main Event!

The Houston Idol Showcase is open to the public, giving Houstonians the unique opportunity to watch the Top 15 performers live starting at 7 p.m. Who knows? Guests might be watching the next American Idol!
