Houston, TX (August 26, 2019) – Here’s your chance to experience the only asphalt circle track racing series in Texas! The Advance Auto Parts Labor Day Classic is this Saturday, August 31st at The Oval at Houston Motorsports Park, North Lake Houston Parkway and Sam Houston Parkway Northeast. Only 20 minutes from downtown and 20 minutes from Bush Intercontinental Airport, this NASCAR 3/8-mile high banked Oval is sure to deliver adrenaline-pumping racing action.

Native Houstonian Gina Schild Knowles, for the Texas Short Track Racing Series (TSTRS), says “We are super excited and very appreciative to have Advance Auto Parts as the major sponsor of the Texas Short Track Racing Series. With their help, we are re-energizing asphalt racing in Houston, and creating a fun, family-friendly race day experience for fans of all ages.”

Not only bringing together outstanding competitors for seven car classes (Pro Trucks, Pro Modified, Eco Stock, Super Stock, Outlaw, Legacy and NasKarts), Gina has also been busy sprucing up the track grounds, facilities and services to offer an inviting atmosphere. Fans will enjoy lots of giveaways, face painting, concessions and $2 Bud Light, plus the first 100 kids get a Checkered Flag !
