SAN ANTONIO, TX, Aug. 27, 2019 – Summer is quickly swimming to a close, and Texans are looking to squeeze every last drop of fun and sunshine out of the season.

For a refreshing and exciting end-of-summer celebration, SeaWorld San Antonio is offering an impressive lineup of events and attractions this Labor Day weekend, including spectacular fireworks, the Bier Fest celebration kickoff, SeaWorld’s newest animal attraction, Turtle Reef, Riptide Rescue, Sea Swinger and plenty of rides for local thrill-seekers:

Labor Day Celebration Fireworks: On Saturday, August 31, and Sunday, September 1, guests can celebrate the Labor Day holiday with a bang at SeaWorld San Antonio. They’ll witness a colorful firework display with a stunning mix of pyrotechnics set to a triumphant musical score. This jaw-dropping show will illuminate SeaWorld’s skyline and captivate guests.

Bier Fest Kickoff: Who knew ice-cold craft brews and aquatic attractions paired so well? Beer lovers won’t want to miss SeaWorld San Antonio’s second-annual Bier Fest this Labor Day weekend. Inspired by more than 200 years of Oktoberfest traditions, the event will tap into hundreds of beers from around the globe, including a variety of local favorites and world-renowned brews. Bier Fest lasts three weekends only — from August 31 through September 15.

Turtle Reef: Labor Day weekend also gives guests a chance to enjoy SeaWorld San Antonio’s newest animal attraction, Turtle Reef. Imagine peering into a 126,000-gallon habitat with floor-to-ceiling underwater views. That’s exactly what Turtle Reef provides as part of an immersive and educational look at the underwater world of threatened and endangered sea turtles and hundreds of multi-colored tropical fish.

Riptide Rescue: The thrills continue with Riptide Rescue, a heart-pounding rescue adventure taking families on a mission to help save marine animals. Guests will set out on a sea turtle rescue mission aboard this thrill-inducing spinner ride.

Sea Swinger: Completing the new attractions from this spring is Sea Swinger, a high swing ride that launches riders on an arc almost parallel with the ground at the top of its trajectory, before sending them soaring to the same point in the opposite direction — all in mere seconds. Guests will swing 180 degrees in both directions, providing amazing views of the park and a real thrill for riders.
