HOUSTON, TX– August 28, 2019: On October 19, 2019, Houston will get a rare opportunity to shop high-fashion pieces from New York Fashion Week designers and the personal closets of some of the city’s biggest style influencers for a fraction of the cost to help fight human trafficking at Conscious Couture’s Fourth Annual Fashion Fights Trafficking event at CITYCENTRE Houston!

A number of iconic and philanthropic Houston women, like Staci Henderson, Dallas Rowden, Katina Kearns, and Earlene Buggs, will be donating garments and accessories to the Conscious Couture Charity Suite and selling their own personal closets in vendor booths at the event to benefit Elijah Rising, a local non-profit dedicated to raising awareness of human trafficking and providing outreach, shelter and recovery for Houston Area survivors of commercial sexual exploitation.

Fashion Fights Trafficking is a unique one-day fashion experience that gives ticket holders the rare opportunity to browse and shop nearly half a million dollars of authentic, luxury merchandise deeply discounted from 50 to 80% off retail, including garments and accessories donated from the personal closets of Houston fashion icons, sample sales from designer runway collections with authentic brands like Gucci, Chloe, Louboutin, Louis Vuitton, and YSL, and high-end garments and accessories from vintage and luxury consignment boutiques, all while supporting the fight against sex trafficking stateside and abroad!

The Fourth Annual Fashion Fights Trafficking event will be held at CITYCENTRE Houston, 800 Town and Country Blvd, on Saturday, October 19, from 9am-5pm. New this year, is a VIP Brunch hosted by International Smoke; the collaborative restaurant of Ayesha Curry and award-winning chef Michael Mina, known for its mouthwatering, globally-inspired menu of grilled and smoked steaks, ribs, and seafood!
