‘Tis the Season at the Boardwalk! Area residents and visitors are invited to Kemah Boardwalk’s Jingle on the Boardwalk every weekend throughout the month on December, through Sunday, December 22. Santa Claus will be available for visits and pictures on Fridays from 5 – 7 p.m., Saturdays from 2 – 7 p.m. and Sundays from 2 – 6 p.m. On Christmas Day, Boardwalk rides, games and retail stores will be open from 12 – 9 p.m. Additionally, the New Year’s Eve Family Celebration will ring in 2019 on Tuesday, December 31.

Visitors of all ages can celebrate the start of the holiday season with a variety of fun and festive activities at Jingle on the Boardwalk including Santa’s Workshop with cookie decorating, a snow patch, holiday performances, hot cocoa, a magical balloon artist and more. Keep your eye out for the various holiday characters that will be frolicking throughout the park for a special photo opportunity! Every weekend will be filled with family-friendly fun, but make sure to add the 58th annual Christmas Boat Lane Parade to your list. The event features hundreds of lighted and decorated boats that cruise down the bay and will take place on Saturday, December 14 beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Kemah Boardwalk is also a Toys for Tots official Drop-Off location for new, unwrapped toys.

Additionally, guests are invited to the New Year’s Eve Celebration, an all-day family soiree on Tuesday, December 31. Guests can ring in the New Year with live entertainment throughout the day, followed by a breathtaking fireworks display over the bay at 10 p.m. Don’t forget to make your reservations for the New Year’s Eve Fireworks Dinner Cruise aboard the Boardwalk FantaSea to sail into the new year. From 9 p.m. – 12:30 a.m., passengers will experience an exquisite view of the fireworks, as well as a chef prepared buffet, champagne toast, party favors and more.
