Style Magazine Newswire | 1/18/2019, 5:51 p.m.
On Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019, METRORail service will be modified along the Green and Purple lines beginning at 9 p.m. until the end of service due to high-voltage power line work by Centerpoint Energy at Texas and Emancipation Avenues.
Temporary adjustments to rail service will take place at the following locations:
Green Line: Two-way bus shuttle service will be provided every 12 minutes between Theater District and Magnolia Transit Center stations. METRO staff and/or platform signage will direct riders to board at nearby bus shuttle stops.
Purple Line: Two-way bus shuttle service will be provided every 12 minutes between EaDo / Stadium and Palm Center stations. Customers traveling to/from Theater District, Central and Convention Center Stations on the Purple line will need to transfer to the Green Line bus shuttle at EaDo / Stadium Station. METRO staff and/or platform signage will direct riders to board at nearby shuttle stops.
METRO's TRIP App and Next Bus Arrival Texting service may not reflect accurate departure and arrival information during this time. Bus service also requires additional travel time, so allow more time for your trip. Please monitor METRO's Twitter and Facebook pages for timely updates. METRO also offers real-time information through its service alerts system.
Customers may also contact METRO's Customer Service Center at 713-635-4000 if they have any questions or need trip planning information.
