HOUSTON—Emancipet, the nonprofit on a mission to make veterinary care affordable and accessible to all pet owners, is hosting a new series of “Yappy Hours” at some of the coolest, dog-friendly places around the city. The events are free, with a portion of the proceeds from alcohol sales benefiting Emancipet. Details below!

August Yappy Hour – Houston

WHERE: Axelrad Beer Garden, 1517 Alabama St, Houston, TX 77004

Come check out Axelrad, Midtown's coolest beer garden. Created as a gathering place for the community, Axelrad offers beer, wine, drinks, Luigi’s pizza, live music, and a grove of hammocks (seriously, it's really cool)! Join us for Yappy Hour from 5-7pm and meet adoptable dogs from local rescue groups.

September Yappy Hour – Houston

Come check out Nettbar, a neighborhood bar built around a re-purposed 1900’s-era structure in the Historic West End neighborhood of Houston, Texas. Join us for Yappy Hour from 2-5pm, bring your dog, hang out with your friends, play some games and meet adoptable dogs from local rescue groups.
