HOUSTON, TX July 25, 2019 – Allstate agency owner Lilla Wright, is reaching a major milestone this year. Wright is celebrating 50 years of helping Houston residents protect what matters most to them, including their family, their homes, their automobiles and their lives.

Wright’s career began at Allstate in 1969 as a claims representative and opened the doors to her first agency in 1984. Back then, her office was located at the Sears in Memorial City. Now, the full-service Allstate agency, located at 12288 Westheimer Rd. Ste 350, employs a number of licensed sales professionals and serves thousands of families and businesses in the Houston community.

“Time flies! It feels like just yesterday when we cut the blue ribbon and opened our doors,” said Wright. “The years I’ve been with Allstate and all the years I’ve worked in this community have been an important part of my life. I have enjoyed working with so many families in our community and thank each and every one of them for allowing me to protect what matters most to them.”

Wright provides auto, home, life and commercial insurance to area residents, as well as a variety of financial products, including college savings and retirement plans.

In addition to serving her customers’ insurance needs, Wright strongly believes in giving back to the community. For years, she has volunteered her time and donates to organizations including elementary and high schools in the Houston area, Connolly Dance Arts, First Classical Academy and Cure Starts Now. Wright recently organized a group of 50 Houston-area Allstate agents to raise $50,000 for Cure Starts Now through The Allstate Foundation.

Through the years, Wright has won numerous awards, including the prestigious Allstate Texas Legends Award.

“We are a business that believes in giving back to the community,” said Wright. “I am very proud to have served this community for 50 years and look forward to carrying on this tradition for many more.”
