Respected attorney and FOX News political analyst, Nyanza Davis Moore, officially announced upcoming events surrounding her candidacy for US Congress in 2020 for Texas’ 22 Congressional District. To aide in her fight against a corrupt system in Washington D.C. Moore will host her next event on Friday, August 2, 2019. The event will be held at the Art Station Theater located at 5384 Manor Drive. Stone Mountain, GA, 30083. Taking place from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm the event will bring together Atlantas dignitaries with special invited guests to include: Mayor Kasim Reed, Ceasar Mitchell, Commissioner Marvin Arrington, Jr., Tommy Dortch, Elizabeth Omilami and many more city officials, Civil Rights icons, and luminaries. Atlanta’s premier media outlets are encouraged to attend.

Nyanza’s healthcare advocacy began in Texas where she witnessed her family fall victim to a bad healthcare system. She is the proud daughter of a Vietnam War veteran who volunteered to serve his country in the U.S. Air Force. After his retirement, her father was diagnosed with gallbladder cancer. After being denied the full benefits he had earned — and deserved — from the VA, the family was left to cover his in-home care until he passed away.

It was not long after that, that the Moore family was hit with additional crises. Her sister fell into a coma, fighting for her life, and her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Nyanza Moore watched as her family drained their entire life savings to cover their care. It is this experience that has given Moore the will to pursue politics and make true change.

With a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Texas A&M University and Doctor of Jurisprudence, magna cum laude from Texas Southern University, Moore has become one of the most sought after attorneys and political commentators in the nation. Her extensive media and political experience has positioned Moore as a political commentator on KRIV-Fox 26 Houston's hit political talk show "What's Your Point?”
