Turkey Leg Hut Expands in Third Ward with Launch of TLH Express Truck

The Turkey Leg Hut is expanding to give the to-go crowd a whole new way to enjoy their famous Texas-sized turkey Legs.

Turkey Leg Hut owners Lynn and Nakia Price are launching TLH Express; a mobile food truck, located at 4902 Almeda Road, just one block from the restaurant, to give customers quick and easy access to Turkey Legs To Go!

The TLH Express Truck will be open DAILY, even on Mondays when the restaurant is closed, from 11am-7pm. The new expanded service will serve turkey legs only, giving patrons a chance to sample all of their signature turkey legs, without waiting in line at the restaurant.

The mobile truck has a patio/beer garden-type feel, with walk-up service for a quick carry-out or sitting outside to enjoy their famous turkey Legs while taking-in some of sights and sounds of Houston’s re-energized Third Ward.

The Price’s first introduced Texans to their mouthwatering turkey legs in a rodeo parking lot in 2015. Today, their wildly-popular restaurant has become a Houston hot spot for celebrities and locals, with eight varieties of succulent, fall-off-the-bone turkey legs, jumbo frozen cocktails, and lines that regularly wrap around the building!

The TLH Express food truck is the first phase of a larger Turkey Leg Hut expansion plan for 2019.
