An Afternoon of “Pizzazz with a Taste of Jazz" featured world renowned Guitarist Joe Carmouche and Friends.
President Lady Lillie Lacy, Jazz Brunch Chair Lady Tracy Warner and Co-Chair Lady Joyce Warner and the members of the Sugar Valley chapter honored ten African American Physicians; Dr. Jacqueline Brown, Dr. Camille Cash, Dr. Cheri Conley-Harvey, Dr. Felicia Jordan, Dr. Robert Leggington, Jr., Dr. Barry Martin and Dr. Joi Shaw Morrison who have made a positive impact in our community and their medical profession.
The Sugar Valley chapter awarded our 2019 Top Teens of America, Graduating Seniors scholarships from our Jazz Brunch proceeds.
Top Ladies of Distinction, Incorporated has a rich history of service and advocacy. Since 1964, TLOD has been serving "Youth and Adults" through exemplary programming under five thrusts: Status of Women (SOW), Senior Citizens, Community Beautification, Community Partnerships and Top Teens of America (TTA). TLOD advocates for the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), Sickle Cell Disease Association of America (SCDAA), NAACP, and are affiliates of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), and the Black Women's Agenda (BWA). In addition, we have partnered with AARP, Keep America Beautiful, the Sister's Network and March of Dimes.
