Bethune-Cookman University to Remember Alfred Adams During Service of Consecration, Wednesday, May 8, 2019

The Bethune-Cookman University (B-CU) campus community is deeply saddened by the loss of Alfred Adams, who passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019. Adams, a former student-athlete, completed his undergraduate education at B-CU. He was currently enrolled in graduate school at the University.
"We are brokenhearted," said Interim President Hubert Grimes. "Our thoughts and prayers are extended to Alfred Adams’ family, friends and loved ones. He will be greatly missed."
Alfred is fondly remembered among faculty, staff, and students.
"We are praying continuously for his family,” said B-CU head football coach Terry Sims. “It is difficult to put into words what huge impact Alfred has had on our program. Alfred was goal-driven to make his dreams come to a reality and was a light on our team for so many years. We offer our love, prayer, and unwavering support for his family.”

A moment of silent prayer and reflection will be held during the Service of Consecration, Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 7 p.m. located in the Gertrude Heyn Memorial Chapel on B-CU's campus.
