LaNell Rogers considers herself nobody special or important and that there is nothing outstanding or remarkable about her. She never earned a degree from a well-known university, or worked in a position that made her much money or gained her notoriety. However, she believes she is rich and blessed beyond measure because of the family she had raised or been a part.

In “After All I’ve Been Through” (published by Xlibris), Rogers speaks about real-life events, strategies, self-help guides, lessons and original poems to help readers cope and eases life’s pains. These are true experiences and are life-changing events from births to deaths. This book will be a source of help and encouragement to readers.

“Everyone has a story and life experiences that can be shared. Some can be related to and some cannot. No one is an expert on everything and I surely do not claim to be, but I have had to learn some good (and hard) lessons in life,” Rogers says. “Hopefully, others will get some benefit out of them.”

When asked what she wants readers to take away from her writing of the book, Roger replies, “that God and my belief in him makes all the difference in what happens, how I feel about what happens, my ability to cope with what happens and find peace that surpasses any understanding. Mostly, it is for readers to find all of this for themselves.”
