More than 300 vendors are slated to appear at Flea Fest Saturday-Sunday, Nov. 9-10, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Burton Complex, 7001 Gulf Hwy. Flea Fest is a market and festival that features nearly four covered acres of anything-and-everything, coupled with delicious Southwest Louisiana Food and fun in a country fair-like atmosphere.
Flea Fest will showcase antiques, retro and vintage items, toys, collectibles, handmade items, unique clothing, artwork, comic books, furniture, jewelry and gifts, perfect for the holiday season. The event also includes plants, a farmers’ market and food by local vendors.
“We are looking forward to welcoming everyone out to Flea Fest to shop from a wide variety of vendors, and we always strive to create a memorable event beyond shopping by offering entertainment for families with children,” said Traci Mobley, event organizer.
In addition to shopping, there will be pony rides, face painting, a petting zoo and adoptable pets seeking “forever homes.” Food vendors will treat festival-goers to everything from delicious local dishes to traditional fair food favorites.
Tickets are $5 at the gate, and children 12 and under are admitted for free. General parking is free, and VIP parking is $2 per vehicle. For more information, log onto www.fleafest.com.
