Following on the success of the 2018 cohort, NexusLA is preparing for its newest class of Apprenti Louisiana employers by hosting a series of informational sessions in late September at the Louisiana Technology Park. The sessions, which will be from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. on September 26 and 27, are designed to educate employers on the benefits of partnering with Apprenti Louisiana for their I.T. talent needs.

NexusLA is encouraging individuals with hiring power in their organization to attend one of the available sessions if there is a growing need for I.T. expertise within their company. Apprentices are trained in cohorts with instructor-led training in order to build community and reinforce teamwork concepts through pair programming and group projects. Apprentices receive stackable and portable certifications, then are connected and placed with employers for a 12-month on-the-job training program.
