On Saturday, September 21, 2019, The John P. McGovern Museum of Health and Medical Science – Houston’s first Smithsonian Affiliate museum – will provide free admission to Houstonians who present a Museum Day ticket. Museum Day is an annual celebration of curiosity hosted by Smithsonian magazine where more than 1,500 museums open their doors for free. Free Museum Day tickets to The Health Museum are available from the Smithsonian Magazine website at – https://www.smithsonianmag.com/museumday/museum-day-2019/the-health-museum/tickets/?fbclid=IwAR253QGKPryG6bcR5l2IDl2u7VyhOBoimnj1luaWO1VpdJi-htwcdmNGnS0. The Museum Day ticket provides free admission for two people and must be presented at the time of entrance for free entry.
