In response to reports that Sen. Bernie Sanders will exit the Democratic presidential primary, PFAW President Michael Keegan released the following statement:

“Senator Sanders has inspired millions with his tireless advocacy for those left behind by the increasing inequality in our society. His focus on the yawning gaps in access to health care and persistent economic injustice in our country ensure that these issues will remain front and center in the coming fight to end the disastrous presidency of Donald Trump. We applaud Senator Sanders for bringing his voice to the campaign and for opening the eyes of many to the deeply rooted problems we face and that the next administration must make it a priority to fix.”
