Aviation Structural Mechanic (Equipment) 3rd Class Daniel Mascheri, from Houston, performs a heavy weather tie down on a F/A-18F Super Hornet, assigned to the “Fighting Checkmates” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 211, on the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) in the Atlantic Ocean April 12, 2020. The Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group is conducting operations in the Atlantic in support of maritime security operations.
