Federal Agencies to Teach Minority Businesses How to Land Government Contracts

The Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Federal Procurement Agency, operated by Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council, provides access to federal procurement officials and prime contractors throughout the region. The Center serves minority-owned firms with annual revenues of more than $1 million. The Center is a part of MBDA’s nationwide services network. It is the first MBDA business center solely focused on federal contracting.

The Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Federal Procurement Agency hosts the Partnering to Scale Opportunity and Business Connection Forum, a one-day conference for the Houston community to learn how to grow their businesses through federal government contracts. Attendees will:

-Learn how to build sustainable relationships with federal government agencies

-Gain relevant tips to help them compete as a federal contractor

-Learn what it takes to acquire contracts to increase revenue

-Engage with other small and minority businesses to form strategic partnerships for growth and sustainability
