Needing an outlet to express her grief and heart-wrenching pain after the death of her infant daughter, Sandra Bearor began writing to process and cope with her mourning and find a way to tolerate her day-to-day responsibilities with her five children. Her new book, “When Jesus Carried Me: Victoria’s Footprints” (published by WestBow Press), shares her family’s story of grief and loss and love and grace as they learned and grew in their faith after the death of their baby girl.

Telling the true-life story of the loss of her daughter Victoria thorough journal entries the author says she co-authored with the holy spirit, the author spends some time reminiscing about what happened during her first two days in labor and what she felt holding Victoria. Bearor chronicles how she grew through the Holy Spirit and the peace the Lord shared with her. She discusses her journey over a period of years, with a newfound understanding and healing, to help others find discernment in a world no one should have to live through.

“My goal is to help others through this unfortunate reality of the loss of a child, with understanding that everyone’s story is different, but God is never changing and is the same yesterday, today and forever,” Bearor explains, adding that she hopes to teach others that “Those living in this nightmare want their children to be remembered by friends and family not forgotten.”
