City Council Member for District J Edward Pollard and City Council Member for District F Tiffany Thomas have partnered to host Community Day, a joint mask and food distribution effort spanning both districts. In celebration of their birthdays, the council members have decided to give back to the communities they serve by offering free masks and food to local residents as the City of Houston continues to battle COVID-19. This event is one of several held throughout the day at locations within District J or F.

Social distancing will be enforced, and attendees will also get information about completing the 2020 census. This event is organized in partnership with Heads Up Houston, the Houston Food Bank, SN 25, the Houston Health Department and the Mayor’s Office of Complete Communities.

This will happen on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Good News Full Gospel Fellowship Church, 8400 Boon Rd., Houston, TX 77072
