In lieu of Covid-19 and per the recommendation of the CDC this year's pageant has been postponed until February 2021

The Miss Black USA pageant has officially announced that its annual pageant will be postponed until February 2021. Th Pageant will take place in the US capital, Washington DC. To address the spread of the virus, we made the difficult decision to comply with The Center of Disease Control recommendations by postponing the official 35th Miss Black USA pageant.
The Miss Black USA™ organization will host its 35th annual Pageant featuring some of the nation's most respected leaders in entertainment, business, news and more. Because of its commitment to excellence Miss Black USA™ has established partnerships with some of the nation’s most trusted brands such as Delta Air Lines, Vitamin Water, ORS™ Olive Oil, Liliana Footwear, The National Center For Missing and Exploited Children and many more. For the past two and a half decades the pageant has received positive broadcast and editorial coverage in leading international and US national media outlets including: Good Morning America Now, NBC Nightly News, New York Times, the Washington Post, MSNBC, Black Voice, The Roots, BET Network and more.
