The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has awarded Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07) with the Abraham Lincoln Leadership for America Award. This distinction honors the top 20 members of the House of Representatives and top 10 Senators who have demonstrated bipartisan leadership critical to advancing policies that support America’s free enterprise system.

“It is an honor to receive this recognition from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for working with both my republican and democratic colleagues to create common-sense solutions that support our economy,” said Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher. “As Houstonians, we know the value of working together, supporting local business, and building consensus. It has been important for me to bring this sprit to Congress and ensure that the policies we enact help support businesses in our community and across the country.”

“Last year, the U.S. Chamber pledged to heighten our focus and reward bipartisan leadership and constructive governing, and we are now making good on that promise today,” Clark added.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce unveiled the Abraham Lincoln Leadership Award last week. Members were ranked relative to other members in their party.
