(HOUSTON, FEBRUARY 27) – Presidential Candidate Tom Steyer will host a Town Hall in Houston this Monday, March 2, 2020 at the Buffalo Soldiers National Museum featuring introductions from local leaders and activists and catered by locally owned business, The Breakfast Klub.

Two new polls show Tom continuing his surge among voters in South Carolina, putting him in a strong position to pick up delegates Saturday. Just days before the South Carolina primary, Steyer is building momentum among voters, differentiates himself from other candidates in the field, and cements his place as a top-tier candidate in this race.

In Clemson University’s Palmetto Poll released yesterday, Steyer is polling in second place at 17%. In a new poll by East Carolina University, Steyer is polling in third place at 20%, just three points behind Sanders in second place.

“This campaign is spreading Tom’s message of tackling the existential threat of climate change, releasing the corporate stranglehold on our government, making reparations a reality for generations of Black Americans, and tackling our nation’s massive income inequality head on,” said Omar El-Halwagi, Texas State Director for Tom Steyer 2020. “We are incredibly excited to have Tom deliver his message of social justice and structural change right here in Houston.”
