Houston Sauce Pit Vegan BBQ Food Truck will be Remain Open During “Stay Home, Work Safe” Order, Bringing Take-out Orders Right to Cars to Step Up Social Distancing Efforts.

Monday-Saturday - 12pm-8pm at 4819 Almeda Road, 77004

The Houston Sauce Pit (HSP) Vegan BBQ Food Truck plans to remain open during the new “Stay Home, Work Safe” order and has added curbside service as an extra level of social distancing protection to help slow the spread of the coronavirus.

The HSP Food Truck provides healthy 100% vegan BBQ meals and sides prepared fresh on site, in an outdoor open-air environment, with less chance of indoor contaminants.

The Truck’s co-owners, Jarett Milton and Courtney Lindsay, have been practicing social distancing and following all the restaurant safety recommendations of the City of Houston and the CDC since the COVID-19 pandemic began. Today, they have added an extra level of safety by delivering carryout orders to people curbside, as they wait in their car.

The Houston Sauce Pit Vegan BBQ Food Truck will be open this week and next week, Monday – Saturday, from 12pm-8pm at 4819 Almeda Road. The truck typically roams the city doing pop-ups at various locations but will most likely remain at the Almeda location during the “Stay Home, Work Safe” order. Guests can check out the full menu and follow HSP for updates and truck schedule on their Instagram (@houstonsaucepit).
