In an effort to engage our students, staff and parents in neighborhoods where our schools are located, the KIPP Texas-Houston Advocacy team is hosting voter registration application “stations” at our meal distribution sites today, October 5, 2020 from 10 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Since there are some restrictions about these applications that require the process to be staffed, our Regional Advocacy Manager, Tasha Dennis as well as the Parent Ambassador, Roxanne Torres who are both deputized in Harris County will oversee the process at KIPP Academy Middle School located at 10711 KIPP Way Street, Houston, TX 77099.

Our team is implementing COVID protocols for the safety of our staff, parents and students who need to access this important resource. Over the past month, KIPP Texas-Houston has helped approximately 120 people register to vote.
