The Turkey Leg Hut (TLH) is stepping up to help Hurricane Laura victims in Lake Charles, Cameron and DeQuincy, Louisiana with food, water, volunteer workers and equipment to help clear the debris left in the wake of last week’s devastating storm!

TLH Founders Nakia and Lynn Price, along with a group of volunteers, will be delivering relief supplies including 25 pallets of bottled water, food, including over 1,000 of their famous turkey legs, two bulldozers, chainsaws and over 25 workers and volunteers from Houston to help residents in need in some of the areas hardest hit by Hurricane Laura.

“Our hearts go out everyone hit by this storm,” said TLH Owner Nakia Price. “After going through Harvey and knowing too well the pain of feeling like you’ve lost everything, and the current times, we all need to take care of each other and help our neighbors in any way we can. For us, it’s with fresh drinking water, a special meal, and some boots on the ground to do whatever we can to help the recovery efforts.”

Turkey Leg Hut will load up the supplies, equipment and crews and head toward storm ravaged cities in Louisiana, tomorrow (Wednesday) morning. Once there, they will join the efforts of rapper Trea tha Truth and his #ReliefGang, who are already doing work on the ground to help victims in devastated areas.

The Prices, known for their celebrity-magnet restaurant and famous TLH brand of oversized, stuffed turkey legs, continually support the Houston community and area residents through philanthropy, food giveaways, free community events and the economic development of Houston’s Historic Third Ward.
