Hosea Helps, Inc. announces its hurricane relief donation drive to provide food and supplies to those impacted by Hurricane Ida. Beginning on Thursday, Sept. 2 and running thru Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, Hosea Helps will be accepting donation of food and supplies at it headquarters located at 2545 Forrest Hills Drive SW Atlanta, GA 30315 between the hours of 10:00 a.m and 7:00 p.m. Hosea Helps will deliver hurricane relief supplies to New Orleans, Louisiana.

Donations of the following items can be dropped off at the warehouse:

· Clothing

· Diapers

· Baby formula

· Feminine hygiene products

· Toiletries

· Microwaveable food items

· Hand Sanitizer

· Bottled Water

· School supplies

· Toys

· PPE Supplies

· Vitamins

In addition, Hosea Helps will assist in providing emergency housing for families who have been displaced by the storm and who have taken refuge here in Metro Atlanta. They ask for financial donations to be made via the website at www.4hosea.org, via CashApp at $HoseaHelps, or checks can be mailed to Hosea Helps at P.O. Box 4672, Atlanta, GA 30302 .

As the remnants of Hurricane Ida move north, the recovery efforts after the devastating Category 4 storm are underway. More than a million people are still without power and running water. Many areas are still flooded, and those who remained face increasing dangerous situations over the coming weeks. “It is our goal to help as many families as we can through this devastating time, so we are asking that the community work with us to help those affected by Hurricane Ida.” Says Elizabeth Omilami, CEO of Hosea Helps.
