Danielle Keys Bess gets Official Endorsement from Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee for State Representative District 147

US Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee has officially endorsed Danielle Keys Bess for Texas State Representative in District 147.
Bess is running for the Texas State House of Representatives District 147 in the Saturday, May 7, 2022, special election to fill the seat recently vacated by Representative Garnet F. Coleman.

Bess is a Houston native, U.S. Navy Veteran and a Female Small Business Owner/Entrepreneur, with a proven track record of excellence in public and government affairs, conflict resolution, strategic communications, fundraising, project management and community outreach initiatives. Her reach extends to local, county, state and federal levels of government with prominent organizations and clientele including Obama for America (Houston), Sheila Jackson Lee for Congress Campaign (14 years), Annise Parker for Mayor, and Ron Kirk for Senate Campaign, to name a few.
She has served as a licensed Texas Real Estate Professional for the past 15 years at Womack Development & Investment Realtors and as a project manager and sales consultant for affordable housing developments that placed over 100 families in newly constructed single-family properties, with a 0% foreclosure rating.
She has assisted in disaster recovery efforts that focused on the rebuilding and/or remodeling the homes of many Senior citizens throughout Houston and played an integral role in community development projects, funded from both the private and public sector, that removed blight and created beautification concepts in spaces that were historically underserved.
