The Alliance and PlazAmericas Host 15th Annual Back to School Drive to Support 3,000 Students and their Families

The Alliance is partnering with PlazAmericas Mall to host the 15th Annual Back to School Drive on Saturday, August 6th, 2022. This event is our largest community service project of the year, providing school supplies, books, and other essential items to 3,000 students and their families.

COVID-19 Vaccines and Children’s Immunizations: Houston Health Department will provide free COVID-19 vaccines to any interested community member ages 6 months and up. No registration is required. The Health Department is also offering $25 gift cards for those receiving a COVID-19 booster dose. Texas Children’s Hospitals will offer free children’s immunizations, with pre-registration required by calling 832-824-6355.

Houston Food Bank will provide food boxes to families in attendance.
