HISD partners with Random Acts of Kindness Day, Inc. to unveil incentive-based RAK rooms

Houston Independent School District Wraparound Services partners with long-time philanthropic leaders David and Treveia Dennis, founders of the Houston Random Acts of Kindness Day, to unveil incentive-based RAK rooms in HISD schools.
RAK rooms will open in 12 HISD schools over the next several months as school stores and resource rooms designed in collaboration with community partners to address the needs of students and reward academic and personal achievements. Student will be able to redeem RAK points/bucks for games, bikes, scooters, accessories, experiences and much more.
Houston Random Acts of Kindness Day Founders David and Treveia Dennis and Revere Middle School Principal Gerardo Medina will be on hand Monday, Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. at Revere Middle, 10502 Briar Forest Dr., 77042.
