Free Adult Programs From Harris County Department of Education’s Adult Education

The Harris County Department of Education is offering free Adult Education program in both English and Spanish.
TODAY, Tuesday, Aug. 23, at 2:30 p.m. (in-person) and 6:30 p.m. (virtual), HCDE and USCIS will host citizenship information sessions. Attendees will learn about the naturalization process, eligibility requirements, testing, and citizenship rights and responsibilities. Individuals interested in participating in either session should register at www.hcde-texas.org/citizenship.

Also, they are proud to announce that our free ESL and GED classes will be offered in person again at select sites. There is still time to attend an orientation session prior to the start of classes on Sept. 13, 2022. For those who prefer to remain virtual, HCDE offers virtual ESL and GED classes continuously throughout the year.
