According to ValuePenguin Insurance Expert Nick VinZant, awareness and preparedness is key. "While we don't want to think about the perils of the holiday season, it's better to be aware of potential dangers so you can avoid injuries or significant financial losses". He adds, "If the unthinkable happens, your home or renters insurance will offer you some measure of financial protection from holiday disasters like fires, damage to your property, loss of personal property or even liability if something happens to a guest at your holiday party."
