Houston Mayoral Candidate Amanda Edwards empowers the next generation of Houston leaders to create change through her upcoming event, The PossibiliTEA: Empowering The Next Generation, this Saturday, December 10 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Tea with Judge V, 2615 Riverside Dr., Houston, TX (located inside The King David Hotel).

Inspired by her campaign theme, “creating a Houston where everyone has an opportunity to thrive,” this afternoon tea event will inspire Houston youth to dream about their futures. It will also be an opportunity for Edwards to learn about the issues that are important to the youth of Houston, guide them in coming up with solutions for those issues, as well as empower them to amplify their voices to create change for their generation.

“We want every Houstonian to know that no matter what your age or where you come from, in our vision for Houston everyone will have an opportunity to thrive here,“ said Edwards. “We are empowering the next generation of Houston leaders. It is important for them to know that their voice matters and that they possess the power to create and be the change.”

The event is a fundraiser hosted by Women For Amanda, an auxiliary group within the Edwards campaign designed to empower Houston women with the tools to utilize their influence to make a difference in the city, amplify their voices regarding the issues that matter to them and their families and, contribute to the solutions of those issues through effective action. All proceeds from the event benefit the Houston mayoral campaign of Amanda Edwards.
