The Houston Area Urban League (HAUL) will host a sold out crowd as they celebrate Black Houstonians who have demonstrated excellence in Sports, Education, Corporate Citizenship and Community Service.

With over 80 sponsors and over 900 people in attendance, HAUL’s annual Equal Opportunity Day Gala fundraising event will celebrate trailblazing leaders who personify HAUL’s mission of equal opportunity for the underserved.

“Through events like our Equal Opportunity Day Gala, we are raising the funds necessary to build a stronger, more resilient society for everyone,” said Judson Robinson, III President & CEO of the Houston Area Urban League. “We will use the funds raised to ensure our agency’s long term sustainability and support our strategic plan to expand our service programs, outreach, awareness, and overall access to Black and other marginalized people in our community.“
