Rooftop Cinema Club Uptown will open its 2022 season earlier than ever before, just in time for Valentine’s Day weekend on Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, with “Pretty Woman” and “Love & Basketball” kicking things off on opening night. The ultimate open-air cinema experience in Uptown Houston located at 1700 Post Oak Blvd. today offers fans a first look at its Valentine’s weekend lineup so they can start making plans ahead of tickets going on sale for the full February lineup next Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022, at noon.

“Our guests have been asking to take their Valentine’s dates to the Rooftop for years,” said Gerry Cottle, owner and founder of Rooftop Cinema Club. “This year, we are able to open early enough to do so. We’re excited to give Houstonians the ultimate date night movie experience as a romantic option for Valentine’s Day weekend. Here’s hoping for a Rooftop Romance!”

The new 2022 season will feature the return of the venue’s on-site bar and food menu to complement its Valentine’s weekend programming and celebration of Black History Month all throughout February. The full February lineup will be available to news media and the public the morning of the ticket launch on Feb. 1 at noon. Fans should mark their calendars for launch as tickets will sell fast.

Valentine’s Weekend Schedule

For that special Valentine’s Day movie night, Rooftop Cinema Club Uptown will feature two of its most romantic flicks, “The Notebook” starting at 5 p.m. followed by “La La Land” at 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 14.
