The Houston HBCU Alumni Association - HHBCUAA Will Hosts Its Annual “HBCU Awareness Counselors Summit” Friday, July 22, 2022 Buffalo Soldiers National Museum

The Houston HBCU Alumni Association HHBCUAA will host its Annual “HBCU Awareness Counselors Summit” on Friday, July 22, 2022, from 10am – 1pm at the Historic Buffalo Soldiers National Museum, 3816 Caroline St., 77004. The event is “SOLD OUT” with representation from the Greater Houston Area High School Districts!

The purpose of the “HBCU Awareness Counselors Summit” is to establish community partnerships with School District Counselors to achieve the following objectives:

 Establish support from our counselors to help us PROMOTE our

HBCUs.

 Establish our Annual HBCU College Fair as a designated College Fair

event for all School Districts on their academic calendars.

 Establish our Annual HBCU College Fair as an Annual Field Trip for

students.

 Support our on-going programs throughout the school year with

student and faculty participation.

Houston Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Alumni Association, Incorporated (HHBCUAA), is a non-profit 501 c (3) organization. It is a consortium of local Houston based active alumni, chapters, and supporters of over 50+ Black colleges and universities.

Our primary objectives are to: inform prospective students of the many advantages of attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities and increase community awareness of our HBCUs.
