HISD will induct hundreds of new educators into the new teacher YOUniversity, an onboarding camp with over 150 sessions to help kick the school year off.

New Teacher YOUniversity is the culmination of a summer-long recruitment effort ensuring HISD gains world-class talent.

This two-week camp will provide tools in various content areas including social emotional learning, student support services, family engagement and instructional technology to ensure student success. The kickoff event will feature motivational messages from multiple elected officials, HISD leaders and keynote speaker Ron Clark.
