Bedrock City Comic Co., a chain of six comic book and pop culture stores in the greater Houston area, will be hosting FREE COMIC BOOK DAY. Six of their locations (Galleria, Spring, Clear Lake, Heights, Sugar Land, Katy) will welcome thousands of attendees for the annual event.

“We are so excited for Free Comic Book Day to make its return on May 7th. We know it's an event fans look forward to each year, and we're working with our comic creators and local artists to make this year's event one of the best yet!” said Bedrock City marketing manager, Dylan Dusebout. “Free Comic Book Day is a great opportunity for newcomers to dive into the world of comics and for longtime readers to try a new title they may not have picked up otherwise. We encourage fans everywhere to visit their local Bedrock City location on Saturday, May 7 to celebrate!”

During the event, Bedrock City will host a signing with the creator of Deadpool, ROB LIEFELD, at the Galleria area location from 12:00PM-2:00PM. Liefeld will be joined by a slew several artists at all locations, as well as cosplayers from Houston Hero Headquarters!

Free Comic Book Day 2022 will feature thousands of copies from forty-five free titles available starting at 10:00AM on Saturday morning. The titles will be comprised of hit properties from Marvel, DC, Image, Viz, and more.
